Clydesdale Bank

David Bird, Managing Partner for Clydesdale Bank in Devon said
"I am passionate that my team play a significant role in helping our local communities where we live and work.  We are proud to support such a fantastic charity who make a real difference to the lives of many local families."

Over the last two years Clydesdale Bank has focused its activities on developing a new model of banking that is attractive to private individuals as well as business customers – where integrated banking solutions are offered to commercial businesses, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals. The new model of banking can be found at any of the 80 or so Financial Solutions Centres (FSC) across the UK, including Plymouth and Exeter.

The FSC concept offers companies the type of personal service and local decision making which has become a rarity in the sector where many providers are centralising the approvals process and servicing client’s needs through call centres.

A unique approach to business banking the FSC network allows local personnel to make on the spot decisions regarding issues such as credit or finance without referring customers to other departments – an approach not taken by any of the other high street banks.

Our local centres in Plymouth and Exeter are part of a national network, wherein clients also have free access to meeting rooms throughout the country. They represent a multi million pound long term investment by the bank that is designed to promote a ‘back to the future’ approach to business and high net worth private banking.
